Hi,
Just wanted to post that after waiting for the correct mask I connected up last night. Wasn't to bad. I heard from you folks that it gets easier over time. I bought one of those hose buddies and that thing works great! Can't imagine sleeping with out the hose suspended overhead. I could roll from one side to the other, sleep on my back and on my stomach if I wanted.
I do have a couple of questions, I got a little redness under my nose. Using Activa LT Nasal mask, maybe to tight? I didn't use much water in the humidifier. I know different rooms, locations, temperature plays a role. The unit is set to automatic? And last question for now is how do I get the clinicians manual? I signed on to ResMed as a sleep tec and got the ok but when I go on site can not find it?
Thanks,
Charlie

Re: First Night On Cpap
Glad to hear your first night went well! Many S9 users have commented that those machines don't use much water, so that's pretty ordinary. Your mask might be too tight, or too loose, or needs to be washed, or your face just needs to adjust (sort of like breaking in new shoes.) Watch that carefully so " a little redness" doesn't turn into a problem. Some of our more technical folks will be along shortly to assist you with your question about the manual.

Re: First Night On Cpap
Hi there,
IM not sure about the little redness, but it could be too tight.. I wear the nasal pillows, so Im not so familair with the mask challanges.
The s nine does not use much water, and I have found you have to crank it up at least past three to get some humidity.. at least in my climate.
so you got on the site, and filled out the information, and you couldnt access the manual?
What would you like to know how to do, maybe I can screen shot a page for you, and PM it to you..
I will pm the site again to you, just in case..
