i've been using a flexi fit mask and sometimes have trouble putting the mask back together so that it seals well. i'm thinking about switching to nasal pillow (Swift has been recommended to me because it comes with 3 sizes) or the Comfort Curve -
any suggestions appreciated. The comfort curve looks as though it might be much more comfortable than the nasal pillow and not leave red marks.
nasal pillow vs others
Amy, just today I wrote up my first night impressions on the Swift. I have not used the comfort curve as other people on here had said there were some issues, and when I weighed the two out for what I may like to try next I went with the Swift. But as you read through here, you will see that some love the swift some love the Comfort Curve, and some hate both. So sadly people can say the pros and cons in their opinion, but ultimately its down to your opinion, at least from last night, I had no red marks to speak of from the Swift. I think some get them from the straps unless they use Padacheeks, but I am able to so far have the headgear so loose that it doesnt really touch my cheeks much.

Amy,
I have the swift and love it a lot, but the straps do pose a problem as far as marks no matter what I use. It all depends how you sleep as to what works for you. I am a partial stomach/side sleeper with one leg hiked up on one pillow and one arm wrapped around another pillow, hence a 3 pillow sleeper (lol). and I also dig my face into my pillow, so even if the straps are very loose, they still will push into my face in that position. That's why I could never wear a comfort curve and won't even try one. There are flaws to every system so you just have to find out which one is best for you. I did a lot of research and looked at a lot of pictures before deciding, and still have ordered another one from cpap.com which is due tomorrow. Always in search of comfort, which is numero uno nowadays. Everyone sleeps differently and everyone's face has a different shape. Good Luck!

Look at the breeze. Some people have problems with it, and it may not be as soft as the swift, but after using the swift for a couple of months it drove me to distraction with its side arms. Then I got a breeze and now nothing else will do - and yes I have been using it longer than I used the swift. Remember it's not always the swiftest that wins the race

IF you decide on the Swift, Lori has posted photos of an alternate way to fit the hose so that it is completely away from your face (it seems more inclined to ride up the back of my head but the added comfort is worth the inconvenience). I seldom get the strap marks on my face but I wear it very loose. Like most of the others here I wear the largest of the pillows provided.
My backup mask is the flexi-fit which is great to change back to if my nose is sore for whatever reason. After switching to the Swift it took me about three days to get used to the direct flow of air. After a few hours, when my nares were dry and sore I would change to the 407 for the rest of the night. By the 4th night I was able to sleep right through.
When I travel I take both masks with me (and all three pillows). The Swift is great for reading or watching TV.
Good luck

Is this true? I guess I may be fitting mine incorrectly. So far I am running with the Smalls as they go way in my nose and I have to try pretty hard to make them leak. I guess a bigger one wouldnt go in so far, I haven't spent much time on them other than a test romp in bed before sleep. Guess I just didnt realize most people use larger pillows.
