Questions for Mirage Liberty Users ?

Post by DannyPh » Fri Aug 06, 2010 10:09 am

I have the Mirage Liberty Mask as a back up mask for when I am congested and unable to use the Nasal pillows. Last night I used the Liberty as I am having sinus issues now. Around 3:30 am I awoke for a bathroom break and noticed that I was more congested than when I went to bed. I had the HH set on two as I always do with the Nasal Pillows. My Question is could the HH setting of two with the Liberty be causing the excess Congestion ? I put on the swift II Nasal pillows upon returning to bed and slept the remainder of the night but the Damage ( congestion ) was already done for the Night. I slept good with both Masks even though I had the congestion. Any suggestions from Liberty Mirage mask users will be Greatly appreciated. Thank you .

Mine will vary according to the room humidity. Now that the AC is on it is fairly dry and I use a "3" setting unless I notice water in the mask, then I dial down to a "2". Try going down to a one and see if you are better.

I've only been on it two nights, but having the humidity as high as I could get it did indeed make me feel crummy the next morning. I think I set it for 76 degrees last night (room temp is usually around 67-70) and I felt pretty OK this morning. You could try just using passover humidity.
