After over a year on CPAP I finally feel that I'm making progress. I started with a simple non data capable machine. When that didn't seem to help I bought a data capable machine and sure enough my AHI was averaging in the 10 - 12 range. No wonder I still didn't feel better. I tried everything to get the AHI down. My family practice doctor didn't choose to treat my PLMD. When a new sleep doctor came to town and prescribed Mirapex I finally got AHI's in the under 5 range. Last night I used my new S9 for the first time and my AHI was .5! I agonized over buying that thing but I'm sure glad I did.
Make sure to get copies of all your reports and ask questions. Without this forum I would have plodded along without the proper treatment. Thank you all.
First night with S9 a success

As I await the approval of my new S9 Auto, I am inspired by your story! Congratulations on a great AHI last night. You are so right about this forum and the invaluable help and information it provides to those of us just getting started, or helping those who have been struggling.
I hope I can post my positive results soon!

Yes, that blue eyed beauty is my cat! He is a seal point, bi-color Ragdoll. I adopted him in '08 from folks who could no longer care for him. He is a joy and makes me smile each and every day.
