Question about SD card for s9
Question about SD card for s9
My sleep clinic mailed off my SD card last Thursday because they did not have the software to read it. They were suppose to have it mailed back by today but it did not arrive in the mail. Three questions:
1. Walmart does not sell a 1 gig SD card but they have 2 gig SD cards in the camera department. Will that work in my S9? I would like to have an extra card anyway.
2. If the 2 gig card works, do I just stick it in the s9 and it automatically downloads the information to the card so I can download the card to my ResScan 3.11 on my laptop?
3. Will doing this mess up anything when I finally get my original card back and start using it?

yes the card from wal-mart will work just fine. It should not mess anything up, yu may want to format it fat32 before you place it in the S9 then you should be ok

Re: Question about SD card for s9
To format your sd card go to my computer and look for the list of drives. You will see a list of devices with removable storage then put the sd card in the card reader you will see a drive letter pop up ie: drive E:. Right click on the drive letter E:, a window will pop up, a little over half way down list is "format". Click on it, then look at the second line, file system. Select fat32 then got to format options toward the bottom and check the "quick format" box, then click on the "start" button and wait till it finishes.

Ok, Topdragster, I pulled the new SD card out of my s9 this morning and slapped it in my laptop and everything is good to go even the detailed charts.
Thanks again,
Mike

Did you have to do anything special to get the detailed charts? All I can see are summary charts. I don't remember the exact message it gives me when I try to look at the detailed charts, but I was led to believe that I had to do something special to get this data from the machine to the card.

Re: Question about SD card for s9
When we get machines in from Resmed usually inside the case it comes with an extra SD card, it is possible that someone took it out at the DME. But look in your bag. I am pretty sure that any sd card should work

Make sure "Sleep Quality" is turned on in "options" on your machine. When downloading data to ResScan make sure "all " data is downloaded.snoreguy wrote:Mike, snoresliketrain wrote:Ok, Topdragster, I pulled the new SD card out of my s9 this morning and slapped it in my laptop and everything is good to go even the detailed charts.
