Comments please-res med swift lt
I have used cpap for about 6 years. Most of my success has been with nasal pillows. I used the mirage swift for about 5 years with great success. Recently the mirage swift does not feel comfortable. Tried a nasal mask, soft gel, was not a good fit, felt bulky. Went back to nasal pillows. this time res med swift lt nasal pillows. What do you think of this nasal pillow mask? So far has been a good fit for me. Would like to hear from others who are using it or have used it.

I have had the Swift LT for Her since starting cpap, 10/09. I wanted to try the FX and just got it this month. I do NOT like it and I'm going to swap it out for another LT tomorrow.
The LT is much easier to slide on my head. The FX you had to position just right as it sits more diagonal on the head. I prefer the right angleness of the LT. lol
The LT is a great mask and I'd highly recommend it to anyone, especially to anyone just starting on the cpap journey.

Me too! I really like the Swift LT, I also have a Quattro ffm, which I plan on using when I am conjested with a cold. The swift is so much less invasive and easy to use. I have added velco to the back strap to keep it from slipping and velcro to the top strap to keep it together. I find the top strap loosens up while I'm asleep, so adding the velcro has kept it where I want it. I have traded my med. and large pillows that came with it for small, so I now have 3 sets of pillows in the right size.
Love it

Swift LT is my first and only mask other than the comfort Gel(?) I used in my sleep study.
Although I have a new packaged LT as a back up, I am using the same mask and pillows I started with in July 2008. I don't have the heart to break out new mask or pillows when I keep getting no leak readings most of the time.
I have nothing bad to say about the LT, and have no need at this time to experiment with anything else mask-wise at this time.....

I'm using both the Swift LT for Her and the FX and love them both. They are lightweight and comfortable. Although I really like the minimalism of the FX, the LT has a lot going for it:
1. Lightweight and comfortable
2. You can dial in the angle of the pillows with the little gears on the side of the pillow holder. I marked that with permanent marker so when I clean everything I get it readjusted exactly right.
3. I like that it vents straight out so that it's less likely to blow on me (and in our King sized bed it's not a problem for my husband).
I used UFO13's trick of sewing some velcro hook tape on the inside of the back strap which greatly reduces the slipping.
Be aware that the pillows don't hold up for long. If your insurance allows monthly replacements, GET THEM. Otherwsie, take advantage of the GReat Pillow Exchange to swap the sizes you don't need for the size you need.

Thanks to all of you fellow cpap users that made a comment on the Swift Lt nasal pillow systems. Everything i read was good, and so far is a good fit for me(3 days), after using the Mirage Swift for years, this one (Swift Lt) is a better fit.
