Does anyone out there know how to make small adjustments to BiPAP machines? I've been asking both the distributor and the sleep doc. for help and I got nothing.
I've been gasping for air for 7 wks now. I still have horrible headaches every day and I'm still suffering from sleep deprivation and O2 deprivation.
If I don't take my therapy into my own hands I'll never get better.
I need a longer I-time and more I-pressure. Now my I-pressure is only 12 and I have no idea what the I-time is but, the pressure drops from 12 to 5 before I finish inhaling. Which leaves me fighting to get air, with every breath.
I have a Respironics Bi-PAP Pro Bi-flex, it also says 650P. If anyone knows how I can make adjustments on this thing, so I can make it work for me instead of against me, I'd really appreciate it. Even if I never get an oz. of energy from sleeping better I'll be fine. I just want the daily headaches from O2 deprivation to end. When your head hurts every day of your life you stop functioning. And I'm a menace when I have to drive myself to an appointment. I really need help and I can't seem to get it from the medical people involved (or should I say uninvolved).
Thank you,

Check this page, where you can download the manual for your machine and find the instructions for adjusting the settings: http://www.apneaboard.com/CPAP%20Adjustment.htminsomniac51 wrote:Does anyone out there know how to make small adjustments to BiPAP machines?

Hope that helps. Good luck!
Veni, vidi, Velcro. I came, I saw, I stuck around.
Dx 11/07: AHI 107, central apnea, Cheyne Stokes respiration, moderate-severe O2 desats. (Simple OSA would be too easy.

Is it this one?

If so... change your topic a little as you'll need directions for a PR1 and those I don't have.
