My roller-coaster is "space mountain" and some days I'm real spaced out. I have been at this CPAP game for 2 years now and it's constantly changing. I am at a point if I could keep my allergies under control which also ignites any "asthma" issues, I think I would be in the clear as long as I'm vigilant with cleaning, replacing, set up, monitoring, etc...I need a pit crew at this point to get to bed. Unfortunately my immune system is so shot from 35 years of undiagnosed apnea that allergy shots are off the table, way to dangerous and in regards to the asthma I have had 2 bad allergic reactions to cortisone and almost didn't make it to my daughters 1st b-day. The coaster turns because thank god some young neuropspine dr gave me a trigger point injection in my arm before deciding to schedule me for an epidural in my neck the day after my daughter's b-day.

Enjoy the ride and remember the APNEA is always the elephant in the room at least it is for me.

Have you tried a steroidal nasal spray like Nasonex or Flonase? I have extremely narrow nasal passages that swell shut with the slightest inflammation. I've been using Nasonex for 2 years, and it has been an absolute god-send. I don't know if it will help you, but I figured I'd pass it on.

Start a thread entitled "Need software for PR1" so that those who have access will see the topic and can PM you how to get it. That will be critical to solving this riddle. That was a good point that someone made about centrals, and it could be your AHI is going up because you're increasing the pressure. Nothing will be clear until you have the software, or unless you get your card downloaded at the DME and they print the detailed data. The problem with that is that your card will only store detailed data for 7 days at a time, so unless you and your DME are willing to do this weekly, it won't help you. You're better off with the software, doing it yourself. In the meantime, unless your mouth is waking up dry, can you turn down your humidifier? It's counterintuitive but higher humidity can make you more congested.
