Hi All,
I have been using Essential Oils for a couple of years but never thought of using it with my CPAP. This site was recommended in the hose management posts, the CapPlus posts and a couple of others. When checking it out, I noticed they had a EO setup. Their idea is to use comforting scents to help newbies get used to the entire CPAP setup. Interesting idea and one that I will try out. Here is their link: http://www.pur-sleep.com/index.asp

Using Essential Oils (EOs) with CPAP
Re: Using Essential Oils (EOs) with CPAP
Cynthia - no one has replied (yet) to your note because... so many here are already using Pur-Sleep and have been for years, so don't know what to say . It's great that you found it as well, hope it helps, and feel free to come here with any questions or comments you want about Cpap (or anything else). I don't use PS myself, but if you put the name in the search window here, you'll get lots of hits.

Yup, the soothing scents really helped me to adjust to the CPAP. I like "Deep" most nights and "Clear" if I'm a bit congested.
I have fibromyalgia in addition to OSA. I take Lunesta at bedtime.

I like the clear also. Only thing is I ordered the product from cpap.com as the purslee people are saying that my email doesn't exhist.. OK, they sent me a 10% off ticket via email and when I went to use it, they said my email address doesn't exhist and I've had this email for over 2 years! So phoey on them. Can't do business with people like that so how were they able to send me the 10% off thing via email if my email doesn't exhist???? Good question. Those oils are very nice. I'm out of the calm and I like the spice also. There are a few others that I like too, but when I used the cream, I was dreaming about a big bowl of ice cream! Any whoooo have a great day, Huggies, Fay
