Hi, all,
Thanks to the help of uncle Bob, I just installed the ResScan 3.11.
I am now using ResMed S9 series and the data is stored on a SD card. When I insert the SD card to my laptop, I can see the files from my computer (most of the files are .crc file). However, when I click "Download" from ResScan, it can not detect the SD card, and the "select" button next to the "Data field" is grey (disabled).
I have tried many ways (including the troublshooting in the ResScan Clinical's Manual) to solve the problem, but none of them work.
Are there any one here can help me?
Thank you very much in advance.

Re: Seek help on downloading data from SD card
I did this for the first time last week, and I forget how. It didn't work the first time, I do remember that much. Keep clicking.
Did you make yourself a patient profile? It doesn't need much info. Wwhen you have the profile open, then you can download data, and after that there's a way to get to the detailed data. I got a look at it all by clicking around until I got it.
I thought I saved the data, but there's no trace now on my computer. I have not tried looking at the card again, but I noticed that the S09 said the data was being erased when I put the card back into the machine. Grr.
Good luck and keep clicking!

Re: Seek help on downloading data from SD card
Thank you very much for your reply.
I did as you told me to: close ResScan and re-open it. And surprisingly, it works, and I can download all the data now, including detailed data.
It seems that the point here is that ResScan cannot detect the SD card only for its first run.
Regarding the data on the SD card, I inserted it into the CPAP machine, and I can still read the data from the machine, which indicates that the data is not erased.

You might check Windows services and see if the smart card service is set to automatic.
You can do that by right clicking on "My Computer" or "Computer" depending on your operating system then left click on "manage" then click on "services and applications" then "services". Scroll down to "smart card" and look under status for "started" and set up type for "automatic.
If you need to set it to automatic, right click on smart card and then left click on properties. Under the "General" tab you can set it to automatic.

Re: Seek help on downloading data from SD card
When I checked the data card the second time, the old data was still there.
So nothing much was erased, even though it said it was. The card can only keep a certain amount of data, maybe it checks for that and calls it erasing no matter if it really has anything to erase - like anything over a year old.
I managed to download Detailed Data and thought to hit the save button for each day. That keeps the data on the computer, fwiw.
I keep forgetting to hunt around for definitions for the descriptions on the charts.
