Depends!! If you are getting your machine from them and it is on a rental agreement and if you have had it more than a month many new DME's won't take you because they can't start the rental over so they don't get the whole amount. Other than that --yes you can but you will have to check with your insurance company because many insurance companies will only work with certain DME's. You need to find out which ones your insurance company will work with.

Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting: "Wow what a ride!"

Yes, contact your insurance company and find out what DME's they will cover and at what amounts. Some insurance companies cover more if you use a preferred DME, others don't care what DME you use.

If you post your geographic location, you might be able to get information from others about good DME's in your area.

Remember there are always online CPAP suppliers. It may cost you more out of pocket, but might be worth it for better customer service and support.

Finally, don't burn your bridges too soon, but once you find a DME provider you're happy with you should let the sleep center know about your experience with the first DME and be sure to tell them that your confidence in that sleep center is affected by that experience.
