EncorePro 2.2.14.0 Problem/Question

I'm using a PR S1 Bi-PAP Auto w/Bi-Flex. I've been using EncorePro 2.2 for a couple of months now w/no problems. I didn't do any downloads for about 3 weeks, 03 June to 24 June. I forgot about or just didn't think of the PR S1s quirky not wanting to report the individual night's data the first 2-4 nights of use.

So the 25th of June I do a download. Yeah, uh huh. So today I did a download. The download seemed to go fine - UNTIL the download message appeared as usual EXCEPT across the top it said: "Unknown failure reading media. The therapy data from the media was successful ... and I couldn't close the box, couldn't cancel, could preview, but couldn't even exit EncorePro. Eventually just had to use Cntrl-Alt-Del (Task Manager) to get out of EncorePro.

I then reopened EncorePro, opened the file I couldn't close or exit from, and all the data was there. I was able to exit normally.

So I tried again, downloading to a Continuous file instead of to an individual file, with the same results. Needed to Exit via Task Manager, reopened and could access the data and Exit normally.

Anyone have ANY idea what I've inadvertently done to run into this problem and how I can rectify it?

And while I am at it - have you found a way to NOT have to change your password every so many days??

Oh, ResScan, I appreciate you more and more each time I use EncorePro!!!! *sigh*

I have this same issue and have gotten so used to exiting and coming back in that I didn't really think about it until you brought it up. I thought about reinstallilng the software, but am worried aobut losing my data.

Don't worry about losing data when re-installing Encore. I have never had the problem which you experience but have removed and re-instaled EncorePro. When it is uninstalled, the data base remains.

When re-installing you must go into custom mode and choose only the program install otherwise the install exits and does nothing.
