Night #7

Post by needanap » Fri Jun 25, 2010 6:37 am

Oh, boy, I'm hoping this works some day (night) soon. Every morning I open this forum to get more inspiration to continue cpap therapy. Thank you for being here with all these suggestions. I've cut apart some old pantyhose to tie the overly-long hose to the top of my headboard - works great! Today I will find some of that lansinoh cream to try and prevent the pillows from leaking. Haven't been able to make it past 4 AM yet, but I'm not giving up! Thank you all for sharing your experiences - good and bad.

Good for you, and congrats on being one of a select few that can spell "lansinoh".

Welcome needanap.
New Yorkers are tough, and your "hangin' in", so that's a great start.
Finding this forum saved me and so many others.
Keep reading and posting.
Susan

I wouldn't worry about air leaking out now and again for a few seconds from the pillows, I have that sometimes when I move my head position, providing your leak rate isn't too high and it's not leaking for long periods of time it should be okay. You might find you have the wrong size pillows and may need to try a different size.

Check the leak rate on the machine, hopefully you'll start to get some good therapy and make it through the night every night

Thanks
Dave
