A Thank You From A Newbie

Post by dog_tired1 » Wed Jun 23, 2010 4:11 pm

All I can say is thank goodness I have found this place. I want to thank all of you who have been helping me in the past 2 weeks. I am also soooooo glad to have gotten to also read the many helpful posts and have access to the search the forum for old posts.

The information I have gotten is wonderful! I now feel in charge of my therapy, not the other way around. I was prescribed a pressure of 7cm and it wasn't helping. I was diagnosed with mild sleep apnea, but am always feeling exhausted. A helpful person on the board posted a way to up the pressure and I was able to get into the clinician's menu on my S8 EscapeII and bump it up to a 9. My DME had the EPR set to 2. I felt I wasn't getting the right pressure until I bumped it up to a 9. Today was the 1st day that I woke up at 6:30 a.m. and stayed up all day without napping and getting my tasks done. I had a skip in my step.

((((((((((Thank you everyone))))))))

Big hugs,
Deannna
