Ever have one of those nights?

Post by KMT » Mon Jun 21, 2010 8:11 am

Ever have a night that your mask no matter what you do just isn't fitting right? I thought I had finally gotten my nasal pillows just right and after 4 successful nights of no leaks or required adjustments I thought I was all set.. Until last night for some reason the right side just wouldn't sit right! I kept waking up throughout the night with air leaking out of the right side. I even turned on the light and took the darn thing off but couldn't find anything wrong with it!
This morning felt like my head had been sewn to my pillow I was so exhausted from fiddling with it all night! SHEESH!

it happens to me all the time. what i do is is loosen all the straps and adjust and tighten from scratch as if its the first time Im going to wear the mask. that usually helps to get rid of tthat naughty leak

Every other night! One night it fits perfectly, the next I hear and try to fix leaks off and on all night! Very frustrating.

Just last night actually. Leak-city. It seemed like all I had to do was twitch a finger and "ssssssssssss", always right in one eye or the other. I'm a wreck today.

I had a night like that oo. My nose got sore so I took off the mask for a while and then put it back on and losened it a scosh and I was fine and slept the rest of the night therough, I haven't got my pillows as yet. They are going to wait till I'm due for a new headgear as those are diffrent from the mask I now use. Hope tonight is better for all of us, Huggies, Fay

Yup! It was just strange. Two nights before I had my lowest AHI ever with these nasal pillows and then last night the right side just wouldn't seat right. I thought I had it all figured out! Back to the drawing board!

Instead of fooling around trying to cure the leak, now I rip off the mask and plop on a different one. It cuts the sleepless time.
