Remstar pressure adjustment

Post by Shiny » Sun Jun 20, 2010 8:53 pm

Hi folks. I tried this earlier and i guess my post went unposted for some reason. I was asking if anyone could tell me how to increase the pressure on my remstar c-flex. I am a trucker, always on the road and my pressure doesn't seem to be adequate anymore.

Tks,

Have you checked with your doc re suitability of the current setting ?. Also are you regulated as to compliance on your cpap ?, if yes then changing your pressure places a burden of responsibility on who ever offers to do so, so best advice is to check with your doc & if he agrees then go ahead.

Good luck

PS am assuming that when you say Remstar you are meaning the older 'tank' (shoe box shape) machine (a great workhorse).

Without a XPAP that collects data and the software and reader, you are driving your XPAP with bugs on the windshield in a dust storm. As you use XPAP treatment you get used to the pressure, soon it fells like it too low because you are getting used to the pressure. The software gives you the true view, so you can make useful changes or not if need be.

You need to post your real equiptment in your profile in TEXT not ICONNY form so the people can better answer your needs correctly. Many things effect your treatment besides pressure, leaks mainly... Jim
Use data to optimize your xPAP treatment!
