New pressure worked really well last night

Well the new pressure worked realy weel for me last night. I had a nice sleep wiht out puilling off my mask during the night and I'm happy abouyt that. It should be even better wehn I get the nasal pillows and then I'll be a happy camper with out leaks in the eyes. I did so well last night and I feel like my head is clearer this a.m. I useed the Calm aroma last night and it was great. I think I'll use the clear tonight. Last night I dropped the little tube of calm and so I lost some of it. That's ok as I have lots of other aromas. Sooo just wanted you all to know the pressure was great and I do believe that was part of the problems that I had on the pressure of 7 and now the pressure of 9 seems to be working out great for me. Sounds like you're getting the pieces of the cpap-therapy puzzle into place nicely.

Base2balls---so I was wondering if you just changed your pressure yourself? I too am at a 7--have not been sleeping very well all week, Did you have a new sleep study done? What made you decide to increase your pressure?

oooo good question. I have it too. The last couple months my sleep is lousy. My machine says that I'm not getting in my hours, and once it showed three sessions in the last week, even though I use it every night. I know I take it off when it bugs me.

I was thinking of upping the pressure on my own. I'm only a 6.

I upp'd my pressure from 7 to 7.5 then to 8 to see the difference without going too high, I didn't want to go more than 1 cm above what was prescribed. I have since backed off to 7.5 since thats where I feel the best out of the 3 settings.

Oh no I will not bother with setting the pressure myself. My Dr put in the order to have it set by my DME and they took care of that yesterday. I told the Dr I felt like I wasn't getting enough air and I keep pulling my mask off during the night and she said she would put in the order for it to be set at 9 as it was on 7 and then she told me to call her if the 9 setting was too high for me and she would have it set to 8. I think the 9 setting is great so far and it isn't too high for me at all. I wasn't getting good sleep as I kept pulling that mask off. Last night I did not take it off util I had to get up to use the jon. I think only about 2 or threee times last night, but I'm so tired now that I have a feeling that I might not get up for quite awhile tonight. Every one enjoy your Friday tomorrow, Huggies, Fay

I'm into my second year on CPAP. At one time or another I've tried just about every suggestion given me. What's so frustrating is that I can do something and it will be a MIRACLE for like two days. Then it stops working. I have upped my pressure before, but put it back down. I think I'll try that again.
