How do I pack a Resmed autoset II?

Post by SnoreNoMore2005 » Wed Jun 09, 2010 1:38 pm

Hello Again,

I have a Resmed Autoset II and carrying case. I tried to put the Resmed Autoset II in the carrying case to go on a trip, but I can't figure out how to make it fit properly.

can anyone point me to a picture or explain how to pack it properly?

Thank you

You did separate it from the humidifier did you not?

Unless they've drastically changed the carry case between the S8 and the S8 II, its a simple matter of detaching the humidifier from the PAP, putting the pap in its formed place w/in the carry bag and the humidifier in its formed pace w/in the carry case. The cord can be placed in front of the PAP's formed place. The hose and mask can be placed in the outside "pocket" w/the velcro closure. If you prefer the cord can be placed in that outside "pocket" as well.

S8 and S8 Elite II looks the same and you are right Slinky it's necessary to detach the humidifier from the blower.

Turn the machine upside down, there is a kind of long metallic button push it and pull the humidifier gently from the blower (keep the button push).

Good luck

Be sure the tank is either empty or removed before turning the PAP and humidifier upside down!
