You will need a battery. Search "battery backup" etc, on the forum and you will find lots about that. You will probably not be able to use the humidifier, if you use one, while on battery power.

Check out my website listed below. There are some companies on there that have the battery systems you are asking about. I think they are a little expensive. I've seen a couple of postings on here of home made battery systems that seem to work.

I've had patients in the past who were avid outdoorsmen. What they do is take along a generator. It doesn't take a very big one to run a xPAP machine. But then again, a generator can cost some $$$. But, if you have one already, this may work for you.

If you go without for a few days, it depends on how severe your sleep apnea is. Maybe you will feel unrefreshed when you get up in the morning. Maybe some of your co-campers will be disturbed (and unhappy) by your snoring and such.

Good Luck with your adventure!

Thanks for the reply guys and gals. I just bought a Marine battery and the kit (dc cable and clasp for battery). So my question is I know the clasp go on the battery (pos/neg) and you plug in the dc to the end of the clasp (male /female etc). Is that it? What happens to the little box that is used when you plug into wall? Dont need that? Do the 2 pieces i bought in the kit do it all?

The equiptment you show in your profile does not match as being useable together, that's why ICONY is useless, TEXT is much better to list what you really use. Without knowing your equiptment it's hard to get needed suggestions. jim
