AHI question

Post by talladega » Sun May 30, 2010 11:58 am

I have a PR System 0ne REMStar Auto A flex CPAP. The device instructions indicate that it (the CPAP) accumulates AHI for each session the patient uses the device. The screen displays the average of these individual AHI for each session.

My question is: is this an average AHI per hour or average AHI per nightly session?
God Bless..

AHI is always a "per hour average" number.

Total number of events divided by the total time the machine was running.
