I have a PR System 0ne REMStar Auto A flex CPAP. The device instructions indicate that it (the CPAP) accumulates AHI for each session the patient uses the device. The screen displays the average of these individual AHI for each session.
My question is: is this an average AHI per hour or average AHI per nightly session?
AHI question
Re: AHI question
AHI is always a "per hour average" number.talladega wrote:I have a PR System 0ne REMStar Auto A flex CPAP. The device instructions indicate that it (the CPAP) accumulates AHI for each session the patient uses the device. The screen displays the average of these individual AHI for each session.

Total number of events divided by the total time the machine was running.
