Hose influences quality of sleep?

Post by Gracey » Sat May 29, 2010 10:52 am

Hi gang,

I've now had my third night with the S9 with good results. Previously with the S8 and a bulky trial hose, I struggled with leaks, comfort and premature removal.

My theory is that the slimline hose has less hose drag, less volume and moves with me MUCH better. This results in a longer usage period, hence better results, better compliance.

I prefer the slimline hose to the climate control one, because of the increased weight and size of the mask/hose connector. The tubing is the same.

Has anyone else experienced these hose issues?

I have the climate line hose, but its so much more flexible and lighter than the other hose I used to use.
The old hose was so stiff, it would get this big elbow bend in the middle and it was like herding ferrets to
get it to behave..

I do believe I slept better the very first night with the lighter, flexible hose. I can "cuddle" with it too as it
bends every which way.. Its very easy to wrangle that little doggie..

I really like the SlimLine - light and more flexible than the usual hose.

well your ferrets are much better behaved than the ones I have had!

favorite ferret game?

ferret climbs in a plastic grocery bag.. shake and bake VIGOROUSLY.. then toss the ferret on the bed from at least
five feet away...

Geez, they loved that! flying ferrets!

That's great to hear. So it probably isn't just my imagination that the hose influences the quality of sleep.

I like the slimline even better than the Climate Control hose. The connectors are larger and heavier, and tends to catch and drag.
Oh.. aren't I a fussy one?! LOL
