I'm going to bump this up because I'm just not ready to turn to a "cap" (I'm not a hat person!), which seems to be the most popular response. I may end up there, but not ready yet. Any others people like?

I love the TMS-09adjXl!! Definetly need the xl. The normal size doesn't even fit a small women's head.

yes. just make sure it has the xl at the end of the order number. American Gases also make a similar one. It's not a thick and doesn't hold up as well.

One of the chinstraps the RT left for me appears to be this strap, but not in an XL (oddly, this same model # is listed under several different brands). Does yours have a seam in the chin? I wore it last night and managed to sleep with it, but woke up after a few hours with my chin hurting from the seam. I took it off and several hours later (now), my chin is still hurting. If my leak rate was as good as the LCD is saying (I'll check the card), I would like to pursue this because I didn't find it too uncomfortable to sleep with--minus this crazy seam placement! I wonder if there's a way I can fix that...

I know you don't like 'hats', but the papcap has no seams...........it's very soft at the chin.

I'm going to vote for the PapCap too! It works for me! Holds my jaw forward...and ....keeps my trap shut!

I'm using the Respironic Premium chinstrap and it works great for me. Stays in place all night and comfortable. It does leave strap marks on the side of my face but I'm going to try wrapping the sides with something to help eliminate that.

Regards,
Rick

My wife has this (or one very similar) with the seam in the chincup. She cut out a small square of material from one of my old T-shirts and places it in the chincup just before she puts it on making sure to cover the seam completely. The seam doesn't bother her now.

Worth a try.

I have been alternating between the Respironics strap mentioned above and the cpap.com deleuxe

https://www.cpap.com/productpage/deluxe ... hleak.html

by switching up i dont have the straps on the same place on my face or head all the time. Also gives you a chance to clean one while you use another.

I would like to try the papcap one of these days. A lot of folks swear by them in this thread

I recommend the RESPIRONICS DELUXE CHINSTRAP. If you google that, you'll find what it looks like.

To be blunt... I've been chinstrapping people for 10 years and it seems to work the best.
