WAFlowers...MIA?
WAFlowers...MIA?
Has anybody heard from Bill lately? I was wondering how he and his family weathered "Wilma". I'm guessing he doesn't have any electricity or maybe he's just ignoring us.

Wilma (the storm, not my wife who is rarely stormy) was well South of me. We got some moderately strong winds -- nothing more than we get frequently with summer storms but this lasted longer -- and light rain for 15 hours or so.
My MIA status was due to a busy home schedule and a nasty trojan that consumed the internet bandwidth at my office. I just couldn't get here from either location!
But, thanks for caring.

I forgot to add that one storm related incident was that my car connected with some (probably storm-related) road debris on Monday morning at speed. I briefly lost control of the car but was able to recover quickly. I'm certain my experience with autocross driving plus the training I got at the Evolution Performance Driving School http://www.autocross.com/evolution/ made the difference between gaining control of the car and connecting with the concrete barriers that were beside me (I was in a construction zone).
I'm really annoyed at the damage to the paint of our red Miata (partly seen in my avatar pic).
Then later this week our white Miata (yes, his and hers) got a flat. Plus looming deadlines at the office on top of everything else and I'm feeling just a might stressed.
Maybe tonight I'll go to the Oldsmar Oktoberfest and get some good German pilsner and whatever they have for food.

Hey Lori,
I'm here....sort of...I'm on drugs right now so I may not make any sense. I got weighed today...was down 9lbs.from last week but this wasn't my doctor's scale (a different doctor's scale). Plus I wasn't allowed to eat anything yesterday and most of today so I don't think it's a true representation of weight loss (am I making sense?). I'd better hang up before I embarrass myself.
Too late....Amy

And 9 lbs? I'll take it on any scale. Great news.
By the way, can I have some of whatever it is you're taking, please?
