Windows 7 64-bit, Card Reader and Resscan 3.10 does it work?

Post by Tiberious » Wed May 19, 2010 7:16 am

I just received my Resmed Resscan Card Reader. Installed Resscan 3.10, pluged in card reader, window 7 found drivers all appears well.

Started Resscan to download data. Resscan does not find the card reader.

Downloaded new drivers from the http://www.acs.com.hk, installed and still no go. Getting frustrated.

I have searched the forum and found that people are using Resscan 3.10 on Windows 7 64-bit, but it appears they are using the S9 with SD card.

Does anyone have it working with the Resmed Card Reader? If so information on driver used and any other tweaks would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

I have had ResScan 3.7/3.10 running fine with Windows 7 x64 and the ResScan (Smartcard) reader for over a year, so it definitely does work.

Right now I have both the ResScan card reader for my S8 and an SD card reader for my S9 connected to ResScan 10 on my Desktop system running Windows 7 Ultimate x64, so both readers will work concurrently. I am using the current, standard ACS driver for the ACR-38U card reader and have not had to tweak anything.

Cheers,

Bill

I feel like such a dummy. Yes it does work perfectly.

I just had to turn the data card over and re-insert the card.

Instinct would have you insert the card with the Resmed name visible when in fact the identification plate and gold contacts should be up.

Hopefully this will help someone else avoid the same mistakes.

Thanks.
