vibrating full face mask

Post by judyhorowitz@aol.com » Sun May 09, 2010 3:31 pm

My Mirage ultra FF mask makes a vibrating noise or it could be described as a burping sounds. It stops when a I adjust the mask, but continues to happen throughout the night. I don't think the mask is too loose. Help.

Various things like strap tension, pressure settings, EPR or C-Flex settings, rainout/condensation forming in the hose, mask fit, leakage around the seal, and who knows what else could probably affect that.
From your brief description, my guess would be rainout/condensation in the hose.

Where do you THINK it's coming from?

I have the same problem. Mine is due to pressure increasing and then escaping around the mask. I wake up adjust sleep, wake up adjust sleep all night. I don't have a solution for you however....Sorry

When I read the title to this thread, I thought, "Great invention!" Please let me know when it comes on the market, so I can purchase an all-in-one mask like that.

I don't have any rain out in the hose. I absolutely have no idea why it's happening. My partner tells me it happens a lot when i'm sleeping. Sometimes it wakes me up and sometimes it doesn't . Cant be good leakwise. Hope someone has a solution.

I'm afraid you will need to tighten the mask a little more. Air is escaping.
