I've been very happy with the Respironics Comfortlite 2 mask with direct seal cushions for several years. I replace the cushions about every two months and have noticed lately that some newer cushions are definately louder when I inhale than others. My leak rate is very low and the sound is definately coming from the front of the cushion where the exhaust holes are located, and only bothers me when I inhale. The last one I purchased actually keeps me awake at night. Has anyone else experienced this?
The pillow and simple cushion interfaces available for this mask don't work for me - only the direct seal cushions fit well. Any suggestions for a good quiet replacement for the Comfortlite 2? I'm a side sleeper, toss and turn a lot and haven't had much luck with nasal masks, and the Comfortlite and Comfortlite 2 are the only nasal cusion/prong type masks I've tried.
I use a Resmed VPAP S in bipap mode set at 10/9.
