I copied the outline of a remzzz, but added a bit to go over my forehead pad
(resmed quattro). Now its anchored to my mask by the forehead piece therefore when I have to take off my mask to do the nightly nocturnal whizz thing, I don't have to go fishing for it when I come back to bed...its still attached to my mask, all I have to do is straighten it out and put it back on.

Anyone try to make their own homemade Remzzzs?

YES! and I'd recommend everyone use them - easy to make, zero cost if using something on hand, and with the liner, wearing the mask is instantly SOOOOOO much more pleasant & comfortable - no more "something foreign and siliconey is creating a suctiony perspirary augh" sensation. And leaks become a rariety. Just a soft, cushiony, comfy, cozy feeling. And, if you do decide to use them, cut up a week's supply...put the ones you've worn in a small lingerie laundry bad (the little white, mesh, zippered bags, and wash & dry them all together at once).
My nights are more sleep time & less awake time using home made liners. I cut mine out of my husband's cotton T-shirts. A trick I use is to cut them wider on the top half than needed by about 3/4" on each side, AND use a double thickness - two of the cut-outs instead of one; this allows the mask liner to double as an eye mask 'cause it completely lays over the eyes and blocks any bit of offending light. And this does away with having to use the uncomfortable eye masks and removes one more strap from ones head.
Really, if you haven't tried the liners, go cut up something (all cotton) right now, and at least try it to see if it doesn't make a huge difference. Doesn't matter if you use a nasal or a full-face mask, it will work.

I also abhor the cost of the elastic head band from Resumed. So, I went to a fabric store in Charleston SC and found some materials used to make bathing suits and some elastic type material used for car head liners. The head liner size attaches well to the velcro, the other material was used as the backing to the head. After cutting to match the original and using a fabric adheasive I was able to make a subsutite. Since then, I am experimenting with a natural rubber from a gasket manufacurer. Will let you know if this works.

I am now using something from the fabric shop called fleecy, quite inexpensive and much, much more comfortable. its about 2mm thick.
I havent sussed out the source of the leaks that I have had before mask lining , and aparently not fixed with the new liners, (I can't feel the leaks blowing now with this cloth on), but that might be acceptable anyway. comfort is so important to better sleep. I taped the liner on with paper tape. (I might experiment with velcrove later).

I am going to use wicking fabric that can be bought at the fabric store. It is typically used to make cloth diapers with. I have the babyville brand and it costs about 8.99 a yard, but you can make quite a few liners with one yard.

I would suggest sending Karen an email via the "contact" link at the padacheek website, giving her the name and size of your mask, she will get back to you if she has one that will fit ... she modifies each liner to accommodate for the headgear.

Now using AirFit F10 mask; Quattro Air is backup mask. RemZzzz mask liners with both.

I make my son's liners from fleece material fits to his face and he loves those better than the white liners that didn't stay put. and ours are washable.
Re: Anyone try to make their own homemade Remzzzs?
Tried making my own until I found one online made of washable black felt that went up above the forehead piece and doubled as a sleep mask. It was perfect but I misplaced it and can't find it online anywhere. Does anyone know what I'm talking about and where I can find it again?
