HI Tammy,

I have been on apap for two months, and have never been more tired in my life too. I hear it takes awhile for your body to
get used to this entire new breathing and sleeping regimen. I have also heard that congestion can cause a bad nights sleep too,
so allergies, and the humidity setting on your machine can have an effect on how your sleeping.

If your AHI's are not under control, that could make you tired too, I think.

I just discovered a rather large leak in my hose, so check your equipment too.

I know it is a big change, and it just might take some time for us to get used this. Wish I could tell you what it was, I hope it
gets better, its no fun to be exhausted and tired all the time.

elena

It might be just a matter of adjusting to the equipment, etc.

But it might be a symptom of something unrelated: anemia, thyroid issues, depression, high blood sugar.

I suggest you have a consultation with a physician and possibly have some lab work done.

I am certainly no expert as I have only been on CPAP for 3 weeks. I still have good days and bad days, but it seems the good days and feeling good are starting to outnumber the bad. I have recently done a mask change so have slid back a little, didn't rest as well last night as I have in the past, but still felt pretty good today surprisingly.

Like me, I am sure you have just learned how to live tired. I am so looking forward to just living!! Have a great weekend all! This forum is a wealth of information and I thank each of you for your wisdom and encouragment.
