S9 Autoset - First 0.0 AHI Night Ever!

After 3 weeks with my new S9 Autoset I just had my first 0.0 AHI night, ever. I'm pumped, literally!

I've been experimenting with pressure range, EPR and climate settings and it seems now I have hit the sweet spot.

I had a few 0.x AHI nights on my previous machine, an S8 Autoset II, but never absolute zero, so to speak. I have been a CPAP user for 7 years so I have to acknowledge the advances in technology that have improved the therapy to this point.

Congratulations! I had a 0.3 night once, but never have I come close to it again. My average AHI is 1.7. My supplier said I was the first person she's had on the S9's and to see such good results is amazing. It really seems like an amazing machine and I'm happy that I've just started my therapy at a great time; if I started my trial a day before, I would be on an S8 APAP right now.

After I receive my own unit next week, I'll actually start tweaking with the pressure. I'm on 6-20 at the moment. We have weekly data downloads (even though I've been doing it myself) so she would see that I've been playing around. Last night I tried the Quattro FF mask and my centrals are down heaps, that is from the Swift FX.

After 7 years and now one night of 0.0 for AHI. That must be a great feeling after perseverance.

Now you'll probably want more than one night. You're likely to get them... now that you know how.

Congrats! I know the feeling...absolute elation to see AHI=0! My high lasted for some time too! Achieved once, it can be achieved again.

I've had a few 0.0 and it's now usually 0.3 or less. Best I ever did on the S8II was 2.4
