Dear Friends,

Thank you for replying. I really appreciate it...thank you for sharing your own experiences. I did try the Epley's maneouver - but so far, the vertigo is only slightly better. I also remember having this a few years ago - when I wasn't on cpap, but it came and went pretty quickly - only a few days. This time it is lasting twice as long. I will be seeing an ENT on Friday morning to see if there is something more that can be done. I will share with you any new found helpful information then.

Regards to all,

Jersey Girl

I'm sorry you are still dealing with that!

I have been following the thread but have never (touch wood) had this experience so could offer no suggestions, except DO NOT DRIVE and many reminded you of that.

I assume you have not been at work or have been getting a ride there and back.

I sure hope that you get relief when you see the ENT on Friday morning!

Good luck Jersey Girl,
I hope the ENT is a good one. You might need a professional to do your Epley.
I'll keep my fingers crossed for you that you can figure this out and get over it soon!

You've been doing this 4 times a day, every day, right? Well, if so, your vertigo may not have the same cause that mine did.

I'm going through this right now, the second time in a month. I will be seeing an ENT soon to have that maneuver...but for the time being, I am having to sit rather still and avoid any rapid movements. I know how you feel...it's horrible! Hope you find some relief soon!

I have to wonder and I have asked this question before...does being on a machine cause this? It never happened to me before going on bi-pap and I have only been on it since Feb. Any ideas?

Howkim -

Actually, I did not realize that I was supposed to do it 4 times a day - will try that tomorrow. Thanks.

Debo415 - Please let me know what your ENT says and how YOU are doing!

Hawthorne - I have been driving to work - 32 miles each way. Just keep my head straight and stay in the slow lane and go in slightly later to avoid the highest traffic volume time. Am working from home tomorrow, though. Yeah, it's scarey, but I have to keep my job! And I find if I keep my head pointed straight ahead, I'm ok - just can't go quickly side to side and definitely not up and down in my movements.

Country4ever - thanks for your kind words. Will let you all know what this ENT says. I'm not going to mention the Epley maneuver to him - want to see first what he mentions to me as possible treatments first. But yes, I might need him to put me through my paces on position excersizes. I'll try anything to get rid of this!

Thanks for all your kind words of support. It really does help.

Warmly,

Jersey Girl
