First Machine Report...

I don't think the Events look so hot, but I'd appreciate any opinions you might offer on last night's report, thanks!

No, actually I think this looks pretty good. You didn't post your Detailed Summary (the one with all the statistics), but it looks to me:

You slept all night, without getting up, from 11 to 7 (approx.)

Your leak line is at zero most of the time. There was a blip at 5 am, but your cpap was able to compensate, because there wasn't an apnea at that same time.

You had 1 apnea about every 2 hours. So that's an AI of .5. It might have been when you were in REM cycle, but that's just a guess. And they were pretty short in duration.

Yes, there were hypopneas, but they were a partial reduction in air flow, and the cpap doesn't respond to correct them, and your body "self corrects". With my S8, I got more hypopneas. with my S9, I only get 1-2 per night, so my guess is that it's a function of reporting, rather than a change in me.

How do you feel you slept? Did you feel rested when you woke up?

It's amazing for a first night... most of us had to deal with leak and understanding how to wear the mask correctly to avoid it--you already have the lowest leak you could expect. I agree with Katie on the events too... looks pretty good. What was your total AHI number? I suspect under 5, in which case that is great.

Thanks for the feedback! I should clarify that it's not my first night on the machine (I've been using since November,) but my first night's detailed report (as I just got my card reader.) I didn't want to swamp the site with ALL my past data. My AI number last night was .5, and my HI number was 3.4

So a total AHI of 3.9... that's great! Looks like this is working well for you.
