I've now used the Activa for a week - I really, really love it. But one question. I know you all have told me to keep the straps just as loose as possible, which I've done. However, every now and then I was having leaks down to the bottom on both sides, especially when I would turn over to my side. Last night I tightened the bottom straps some and the leaks have pretty much gone away. The way I have it set now, I still can pull it completely off my face if I need to re-seal it, so is it still loose enough?? I've had to bring the forehead thing down a bit and it just barely touches my forehead. I'm so glad I read all your posts so I knew to buy the Activa.
Activa question
I can't speak specifically of the Active because I haven't tried one (although I'd like to), however my experience with masks (CPAP and scuba) tells me that if the straps are too lose they won't stay in place and will leak. Also if they are too tight the skirt will deform and they will leak.
But when they are just right ...
I'm minded of a fairy tale about a horrid little break-and-enter artist and a wildlife family .

Babbie,
I tried the Activa and you can get a pretty good seal with the straps fairly loose. My only problem is that any mask that puts the slightest pressure anywhere around my nose makes my nose close up and can't get any air in there.
I had to switch to an interface but I did like the way the activa sealed with headstrap not so tight.
oooo... my nose is plugging up just typing about it.
