Sleep Apnea Insults?

Post by Hodr » Wed Apr 07, 2010 9:56 am

So I will be getting my equipment delivered and setup this monday (two weeks from my test, but at least I am getting exactly the machine / accessories that I asked for).

Meanwhile, one of my co-workers (also a CPAP user) has resorted to calling me a future hose head. I am fine with that, but I wanted a few snappy comebacks for him.

I thought of sleep snorkler (I am sure this is common vernacular already), but I am drawing a blank for anything else.

please let me know if you guys have any suggestions.

I remember an old episode of The Soprano's. Junior was under house arrest at the time was being fitted by an RT with a CPAP mask. Tony says, "Hey, Uncle Jun. How many MIGs you down this week?"

A couple weeks ago, my girlfriend (who also has OSA) and I had just masked up. I was just about to turn out the light, and said "pilot to bombadier... pilot to bombadier." We got a chuckle out of that one.

If it's just jovial and names you want then perhaps "Blow Fish", "Darth Vader", "Storm Trooper", "Snorkler" to name a few.

You could also use "Houston we have a problem", "Coming up for air, stand by!", ""Jesus, put that mask back on, you scared me!", "The Russians have landed", "Ground control to Major Tom", "Gas masks on!" or simply "Mine's better than yours"

Thanks
Dave

At a meeting that I was at there were two males sniping "my hose is bigger/longer/better then your hose"
They were also suggesting that the ladies could come home with them to check out their "hose" size

There is always the classic ... "blow this!".
President-pretender, J. Biden, said "the DNC has built the largest voter fraud organization in US history". Too bad they didn’t build the smartest voter fraud organization and got caught.

All good suggestions, though many seem targetted at a significant other / person currently wearing a mask. This is a friend from work, so neither of those really apply (unless for some reason he brought his equipment in to work for a nap).

Thanks.
