just got swift fx

Post by xiola » Tue Apr 06, 2010 7:05 pm

My swift LT was broken, there was a leak in the hose. So I decided to try the new swift FX.. I got it today and almost want to go to bed early so i can try it LOL

It was funny.. I went through my DME because 1) I am inherently lazy 2) I want it to count towards my deductible 3) that was the easiest method of getting one

So when I met with the RT today she asked me if I worked at a sleep lab, because I seemed to know so much about the therapy.

I told her no, I get all of my information from this forum and I don't think she liked that

the weird thing was, i needed one size bigger of the pillows, than with the swift LT. at least, that's what it seemed like in the office. we'll see how it goes tonight while i sleep.

May I ask what size pillow you used with the SwiftLT?
and please let us now how your first night was with FX.
I phoned my equipment provider this afternoon and she is so kind
to lend me their demo FX. She mentions that the mask comes with
material covers (similar to padacheeks) Are you using those?
