You're not alone by a mile and Dori's note was on track. You might just not yet have experienced the roller coaster ride it CAN (but not necessarily will) become and that's not to say it can't be a problem just one time vs a rocky future - plus improvements show up every day in medicine.
Thanks Julie, finding the right balance to start with (2 years ago) when I was diagnosed with Young Onset Parkinson's wasn't easy, and it's been a bit of a roller coaster ride ever since, usually happens just when you're least expecting it. For my Sleep Apnea I've had it pretty well under control and even more so lately. Trying to keep PD under control isn't easy, SA is much more easily (thankfully).

Thanks for all your kind words!

Dave

As a user of a Respironics BiPAPauto SV Advanced for the past few months, my sleep specialist and I have been partially successful in reducing my mostly central caused AHI from the 70's down to the 20's.

All of you fellow xPAP users that have AHI in the < 1 catagory might not fully appreciate how luck you are to have your AHI less than 1.

I envy you.

I said that!

To clarify, I use a modified Infinity 481 nasal prong mask and love it; and I use Encore Pro 2.2 to analyze my sleep statistics.

Eco,
Thanks for the perspective. It's often difficult to appreciate the world outside the little sphere we live in.

Congratulations on what you've accomplished, ecocyber. I hope you'll be successful in getting further reduction in AHI with less and less effort as your therapy continues.
