Sweat around mask getting in eyes
Sweat around mask getting in eyes
Almost every morning when I wake up it's as if I've been sweating all night and suddenly upon waking I get a rush of sweat in my eyes that stings pretty bad. Has anyone else experienced this?
Re: Sweat around mask getting in eyes
That would be me if I had to wear a full face mask. Have you tried mask liners to see if it helps with the sweating?

Since you list a Swift LT as your mask... is there something else going on/ bothering you thats making you sweat ??? From what you've said... there doesn't seem to be anything obvious.unclematt wrote:Almost every morning when I wake up it's as if I've been sweating all night and suddenly upon waking I get a rush of sweat in my eyes that stings pretty bad. Sorry for the late reply, I've been busy working for the man. I no longer use the nasal pillows. I should update that. I am using ultra mirage nasal mask II with this problem. I am not sure if it is sweat but my eyes sting bad when I wake up. Could I be getting an air leak and having air blow on my eyes all night? It goes away when I wash my face which is why I was thinking of sweat.

Could be air leak from mask... you should be seeing that in your numbers. There are pads (pad a cheek etc) that can help or adjustments. of the mask. I guess it could also be the air rushing by your blood vessels in your nose that is an irritant that shows up by blinking or eye watering... just a guess.unclematt wrote:Sorry for the late reply, I've been busy working for the man.
