Good for you stand up for what is the appropriate care and treatment from these people. I would also suggest that you contact your insurance carrier, if one is involved and relay your situation to them, they do have allot of influence with these people. I would also let the doctor that wrote your prescription know.

The first thing I would do is let the doctor and sleep lab know that the dme did not set you up on what the prescribed. I work for a DME (don't send me death treats, there are a few decent ones) and they want to keep the doc and sleep lab happy or they wont get that continued revenue from their referrals.

Don't go in muttering death threats, but go informed. If you have to, print out some of the questions suggested here.There's nothing scarier than an informed consumer!
