EncorePro 2 installation problem

Hi,
I'm trying to install EncorePro 2.2 on my 32 bit Vista system.

When I tried to download Installer 4.5, all of the versions gave me the message that they were not for my system.

I want ahead and tried to install EncorePro. I kept receiving the error that it could not install the SQL server.

Checking my program files, I see that SQL Server 2005 Compact Edition is installed on the computer.

I went to advanced mode and tried to install it without installing the SQL server. I receive the error message that it can only install onto a server running on an NTFS file system.

As suggested in an earlier post, I tried to do all of the above after uninstalling my antivirus software. No effect.

Suggestion?

EP 2.2 uses SQL Server 2008. If you already have EP 1.8, it can be installed side-by-side with that installation. It also requires your hard drive to be formatted as NTFS. Go to the 'My Computer' folder, and right-click on 'drive C'. Pull down to 'properties'. Does it say it's "File system: NTFS" for that drive? If not, your vista system has been installed on a drive with a different format. You'll need to install it on a different system, or reinstall your windows operating system after formatting your hard drive as NTFS.
