This is the last mask question, I promise!

Post by Snoozie » Tue Oct 18, 2005 3:22 pm

I emailed CPap.com about the Activa Mask because when I put in my measurements for the correct size, it said that I should try another mask, that apparently that one is not for me. I didn't understand why, when I have an average size face. Not small, not large. So then I send them an e-mail asking why it said I should not purchase it and gave them my measurements and the size of my other mask. The only answer that I got back was that the Activa runs a little smalller than my previous mask. To me that was not a good answer, because they have a standard AND a large. Wouldn't you think one of the sizes would fit?

Now I am wondering if I should not get it based on their sizing guide. My question is: could someone that has a standard mask give me the measurement from top of seal to bottom and I can go from there? I sure would appreciate it!

Snoozie,

Go with the standard... or if you have a flatter nose get the shallow. My understanding of the Activa when I bought mine was that the standard fits most people and the the large would be for a large face. The shallow is ment for a user with an asian type flatter nose.

Snoozie, I think the masks are all just made a little differently (kind of like our faces) so each one fits your face different. I know when I got my machine I tried on 4 or 5 diiferent masks and the one I really liked best did not work for my face!
