fixing time on data

Post by DeeDeeD » Thu Mar 11, 2010 7:16 pm

I just got my new machine yesterday and I downloaded the data from last night onto my computer this morning. I'm using Encore Pro 2 software. The only thing I'm wondering is how to fix the time. I went to bed at 11:30pm yet my data shows I went to bed at 4:30pm??? Anyone know how to fix this?

Don't know about the PR Series one machines but Respirionics up to this point the clock could only be set by the factory or service center. They were set to GMT (Greenwitch Mean Time) and were converted to your time by your computer when you download the data. Setting the clock was not a part of the clinical menu. On the PR machines there is a GMT offset time that can be set in the clinical menu. This apparently needs to be set to the number of hours + or - from GMT to your part of the world. It looks like you still can't set the clock but now you need to tell it where you are in the world.

Yes, there are two ways to fix this in the translated manual:

(a) reset all the clocks in your house and on your computer as required.
(b) go to bed earlier

Asides from that you need to learn to suffer like the rest of us. Sic.
