S8 Elite II Pressure Dropping?

Post by pandaspandaspandas » Mon Mar 08, 2010 8:18 am

I've been waking a few times every night and noticing that the pressure seems off. It feels weaker than it should, but the stated value on the machine has remained the same. Has anyone else with this machine experienced this problem?

Take the machine to your DME and have them check the pressure. It will put your mind at ease.

That's usually a good sign you are getting use to the therapy. Most report a period when they think the machine isn't working because they can't really feel the pressure anymore. Happened to me.

Glad I read this because I was starting to wonder the same thing.

I figured out the problem. Apparently my excessive drooling was causing regulation problems. After I made a 'drool absorber' for my mask, the problem went away.
