[b]Hi Folks,
Well I have finally done it, purchased my first CPAP, Respironics PR System one auto Cpap with Aflex.
Decided on this for two reasons:
1 I am trialing one at the mo, and it works for me, very well.
2 The S9 that i was waiting for was $417 US more!!!!!!! Possibly good, but not that good.
Bought from CPAP.Com they were 66% cheaper than buying the same model here in Australia!!!!!!! Have a friend flying from the USA on Sunday so looking forward to my first CPAP.
Thanks everyone for all your support.
Anyone have a clinicians manual for the PR System One?

Greetings bertdoozer (aka Stu)! Welcome to the forum. I've seen you posting and asking questions. Good for you for doing the research you need to find the right equipment to meet your needs.bertdoozer wrote:... Yeah, I fear it will be a while before the S9 is reasonably priced.
PM is on it's way to you.bertdoozer wrote:... Anyone have a clinicians manual for the PR System One? ...

Resmed is disallowing internet retailers to sell their products across the pond starting on the 15th of this month. If anyone is planning on buying from Australia, now might be better than later.

Hi Bertdoozer
Congratulations for your choice. Remstar was my first choice.
Please could you let me know how do you like your machine.
I'm planing to sell my S8 and buy a new system one auto.

Re: Taken The plunge
I love my PR1 auto. It's a little longer then my "m" series so I had to rebuild my shelf, but it was worth it. It's quieter and even with the humidity turned up, I haven't had any rainout. Plus. this machine is my own, so I could adjust the pressure for comfort and maximum effect. It is pretty cool to look at your numbers each day, on encore 2.2, all six pages of grafts and numbers. Some I understand, and some I don't. But, with a little help from my friends, it will come. Has anyone posted screen shots of each page with an explanation of them?

I have had big news today.
One of the online sellers (not cpap.com) told me by chat they don't ship or even sell any cpap from Resmed, Repironics or Fisher&Paykel to Canada (international ? ? ? ). It's crazy because I decided to chat the price for a System one because I had just received an answer by e-mail telling I could use USPS for my shipments to Canada. Who is wrong here The girl from the chat or the one who answered the e-mail
If that's true that sounds fishy, are the 3 big joining in the closing of the international internet market for their cpaps? If that's true when is the turn to close the internet market for US too? Remember that they did it for ebay on the name of protecting us from a misuse of our cpap machines. I really hope for you my American friends that will not happens, other way you too will find yourself paying 2.5 to 3 times the price you pay today by internet.

Has the software for the S9 machines come out yet?
