Stupid User Question

Post by akeegan » Fri Feb 26, 2010 1:54 pm

I seem to have a lot of my PMs and PM replies getting stuck in my Outbox. No zeroes for ohs, double checking security code, etc. Some messages go through, though. Posts are okay. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Al

PMs do not leave your outbox until they are picked up by the designated addressee.

Hi, Al. FYI, PMs you've sent will sit in your Outbox until the recipient logs in to read them.
Veni, vidi, Velcro. I came, I saw, I stuck around.

Being in the computer world, which this site is, there are NO stupid questions. Don't ever be afraid to ask, even if you don't get polite answers, just remain polite, and ask away.

Thanks!

If it helps at all, I wondered why PM's sat in my outbox, sometimes for hours on end.

See, your "stupid question" (which it wasn't stupid by the way) helped someone else who was confused too. I'll bet there are a few other newbies that wondered too.

Thank you.

There are no stupid questions (ok "are we there yet ?" is the only one)

One of my spiritual teachers said that for every question asked there are 10 people afraid to ask it but waiting for the answer.

I don't remember who said it, but I once heard that "the only stupid question is an unasked one -- "

Do you have a question for me?

If so, just send it to my outbox.

My mother the English teacher used to say that, but I know that it wasn't hers originally. She also used to say that there are no stupid questions. She was a hell of a mother and a great teacher.
