nasal pillows

No matter how I start the night, I have a tendency to turn face-down while sleeping. In the morning, I have deep grooves around my nose Ihat last almost all day. I've tried switching to a cannula on several occasions but after the CPAP is on for a while, the air blowing on my nostrils is irritating to the point of being painful. CPAP pressure is set at 10 and I'm currently using an Ultra- Mirage mask with a silicone cushion. Is a gel type mask less likely to dig into my face? I hate to waste money without some feedback.

You might want to try one of the pillows designed for CPAP use to allow you to move farther on your side. This might help. Some examples include:
