ResScan Version 3.7

Post by akeegan » Sat Feb 13, 2010 10:04 pm

I have an S8 AutoSet II. If I purchase ResScan Version 3.7 software, what interface is recommended? The USB card reader or the USB adapter? They're both about $70. Are there any third-party vendors that sell this hardware for less?

Thanks,
Al

I think there are third party readers available. However, I would go with the USB card reader (if your current unit has the USB card in it). Why? It's a LOT easier to take the card from your AutoSet to your PC than it is to take your PC to your AutoSet or your AutoSet to your PC. If it is easier to do, you are more liable to do it.

The Card reader will be much more convenient than the USB - you don't want to have to take the CPAP to the computer all the time.

I would go with the card reader. As everyone else has stated it's easier. I have installed the software on both my computers which have Vista and not had a problem runnung the software.
