Full LIfe Fan Club

Post by montana » Sun Nov 08, 2009 3:26 pm

I have used this mask for over a week. What a difference from the quattro. I have used either the Ultra Mirage or the quattro most of the time.( about 3 years) I have tried many others maybe 6 or 7 more. ...lost count.I can't use nose type.
I own the QFFM, UMFFM, Hybrid , comfortfull , flexi curve, a flex fit I think also. Anyway a bunch!

The FULL LIFE is the only one that worked from day one. Immediate changes in my numbers. Just amazing. It is so light weight and much more comfortable than many of the clunky other ones. I just wonder how others feel about it.. that have used it for awhile...not just a night or two.

Glad it's working for you. But it looks like a small fan club so far.

I tried mine two nights, then put it on cpapauctions. I WISH it had worked...it sounded good in theory.

Unlike his passengers who died screaming as the car went over the cliff...

I likened it to strapping a tupperware bowl to my face and expecting it not to leak....

I did then get the Fit Life, which I think is confusing and should have been called the Full Life, since it truly covers the full face.
Anyway, I really like the Fit LIfe.

I was an early (and avid) fan, and I worked hard at making the FullLife work for me. But I've given up on it now and am using the Hybrid. AHI is a bit higher (my personal best was with the FullLife), but I can work on that. My leak line is flat, and my nose is pain-free.

Glad it's working so well for you, montana (even if you're the President, VP, Secretary, Treasurer and (seemingly) only member of the fan club).
Veni, vidi, Velcro. I came, I saw, I stuck around.

Dx 11/07: AHI 107, central apnea, Cheyne Stokes respiration, moderate-severe O2 desats. (Simple OSA would be too easy. ;))

PR S1 ASV 950, DreamWear mask, F&P 150 humidifier, O2 @ 2L.

Not much of a fan here.

Leaked too much for me at my high pressure of 17-20.
Was 1st mask I bought couple months back.
Once it was determined my leak rate was just to high, I bought a Quattro and Mirage.

Quattro has been best so far, but still had to tweak a bit.
Last 2 nights my leak rate was low to mid 50's which is good with my high pressure (last night 90% was 19).

Quattro never worked for me. I'm still trying to get leaks under control with the Full Life at my higher pressures, but I think once I work that out, I will be a fan. Right now my go-to is the Swift LT!

I started with the full life as well and was very excited about it. It was smaller, lighter weight and more comfortable so I thought it would be.
however, after about a week or less I developed a sore spot on my nose, I couldn't seem to get the leaks from stopping and because you had to readjust it every time--no quick clips it just didn't work out for me. I've since switched to the Hybrid which i LOVE!
