Using New mask on patient tonight

Montana you are great to try to help your patients so much. This info from you will save a lot of people grief and money. Wish it were compatible with the ResMed machine Silver uses.

Not sure about adding quick clips to this mask or not. I did look look at the website robmax had posted, and I would have to play with some I think. The bottom straps on the mask have a wide section so it does not accidently slip out of the hole, so it looks like they may have made it so you just loosen the straps and take off. I kinda like the clips, especially on the lab side of things, its easier to get off and on people. I used a small size, but I could have used an XS size for my gal so the sizes on these are a little different than other masks. I e-mailed respironics to see if they would/are making a full face mask in this style. I hope they do, cause I will get one in a heartbeat!

If anyone comes up with a way to add clips to this mask let me know! Thanks everyone!!

I recently received my EasyLife mask, and I do not even want to admit how many masks I've tried, but I think the EasyLIfe just might be "the one". Heretofore, the only mask I've been able to use with any lack of facial scarring and success leak-wise has been the ComfortGel Nasal. Well, I did like the Oracle but I learned (thanks guys!) that nasal breathing is preferable if possible, so the Oracle got the boot.

Ugh, I hope you didn't get that from me about the Oracle! Studies show that it works!

you know thats possible, I am behind on my new masks right now. When we started this lab in October I got 3 huge boxes full of masks, so am still learning and playing with most of them. But thank you for the info, I will look into it. You are probabaly right!

Yes, I did! Ha!

But I did do a (precious) little research on it after you mentioned it, and there are quite a few believers in 'nasal is better than mouth' breathing. I didn't throw the poor Oracle out, because I do really like it, but for now I'm on a nasal kick. Took a nap today with a Profile Lite, and it is not as heavy feeling on the face as the ComfortGel is. And I have to apologize now to the EasyLife headgear, because I don't think any headgear could be worse than the Profile Lite's. WOW super super scratchy, the velcro is almost immovable (I had to use two hands more than once on one little strap), just ridiculous.
