The mask has an intentional leak -- it's a vent to let out the CO2, and air blows out of it.

Your data look excellent -- I hope you feel as good to the numbers look!

The pressure you needed for 90% of the time during this week was 7.5 or less. Put in other words: you needed higher pressure only 10% of the time.

Your leak rate depends on the mask and on the pressure you use -- an average of 1.48 L/min translates to about 0.25 L/second -- which fine for your mask at that pressure -- you can find the correct numbers on a chart in the mask manual .

Your AHI -- that's the Apnea Hypopnea Index -- the number of events per hour -- is very good too

All in all, a very promising start. And how do you feel?

Welcome to the forum, and good luck!
O.

ozij, thank you for explaining the data for me. at the frist three nights i woke up due to rainout in the mask, then I put a sponge foam at the bottom of the mask, it absorbed water and no more dropplets, everything is fine now. I bought this machine online and can't get enough support from provider. thank you again for help.

Given your AHI, which Ozij explained, your pressure setting is doing a very good job of keeping your airway open and preventing or dealing with any events.

In other words to answer your question - is an 90% pressure of 7.5 too low? - no your pressure, at 7.5 cm, is doing a great job for you, given your AHI.

You are sleeping a good number of hours per night. If you are feeling more rested and your apnea symptoms are better, you are getting very good therapy!

You data says you are doing very well. If you are feeling better, all is good!
