I have some I bought about 18 months back - am sure the first ones I got were originally an accessory to a UMFF Resmed Mask ? - pretty sure later masks didn't include them. The mask also came with a netting style carry bag.

I'll try to figure where they came from but I am sure it wasn't cpap.com (I haven't looked to see if they have any).

I believe F&P also had an 18" hose that came with their HC150 machine - see bottom of below link (I have one of these hoses as well)

xPAP and Quattro std mask (plus a pad-a-cheek anti-leak strap)

This is a pretty interesting (& timely for me) post. I just got a PR System One and even at 5, which is the max, I don't get enough humidity (this may not always be true, I've only used it one night, but....). So, just this morning I was thinking about using my HC150 as you have done. After reading this, I think I will definitely try it.

Out thermostat is set at 72 in winter 82 in summer. When you get used to 118 in summer 82 feels cool enough. Not to mention keeping the electric bill down a bit.

I don't often have rainout. Had it a couple of times but it's rare.
If I set the F & P above 2 it would run out of water. But with both humidifiers hooked up I can leave it on 2 and set the Resmed humidifier on 1 ( so far ) and it works pretty well.

Mine is around 70 and i can set my H4i to 3 and not get any rain out. Anything above 3 and i find my skin gets uncomfortably sweaty inside the quattro.

Yes, I do have a short hose .. ummm... between the machines.

What a great idea !. But am guessing you have a short 12" hose between the two humidifiers.
I imagine that the buffering & pressure loss with a 12 ft hose would lower the therapy effectiveness ?

Cheers

Short hoses, available from our host:

https://www.cpap.com/simple-find-cpap-p ... fiers.html
Veni, vidi, Velcro. I came, I saw, I stuck around.

Dx 11/07: AHI 107, central apnea, Cheyne Stokes respiration, moderate-severe O2 desats. (Simple OSA would be too easy. ;))

PR S1 ASV 950, DreamWear mask, F&P 150 humidifier, O2 @ 2L.

Well, here's some:

http://thecpapshop.com/cpap-tubing/tsb-s10e.html

https://www.cpap.com/productpage/18-inc ... -ends.html

https://www.cpap.com/productpage/24-inc ... -ends.html

I'm actually using the first one to connect my machine to the HC150 (since I misplaced the elbow that I had picked up...)

Just measured ... my hose actual measurement is 23" tip to tip so I suppose they call that a 24".

It came with the F & P 150 humidifier.

I set the thermostat to 68 last night and cranked my humidifier up to 4.5. When i woke in the morning my room was actually 67 degrees and the humidifier was dry, i had 9 hours of sleep. It was good that i did not notice any sinus congestion (I have a deviated septum). However i got a terrible AHI of 35.7, AI of 2.3

Wow, that is shocking. Did you look at your graphs? Any patterns there? Can you post your graph?
How do you feel?

i didn't have time to pull the graph, I'll try later tonight. Its almost 3pm and i feel fine, but then again its 70 degrees and not a cloud in the sky so its not difficult to feel fine today
