hi - just another newbie,
i have been reading all this incredible information on this site (a LOT to take in!) but have one pressing question regarding other people posting stuff about software and readouts from their sleep apnea machines. since knowledge is power i really want to have access to the data recorded on the chip on the card in my CPAP machine. how do i best go about this and can i somehow get hardware to read it myself on my computer? how do others get this info? is it worth it? how often should my DME be collecting this card? feedback much appreciated! (sorry...i don't have the lingo going yet)
also, any ideas for a good pillow? i have to sleep on my side need to sleep pretty much propped up because i have really severe sleep apnea and wake up gasping for air a lot.
thanks in advance,
sleepingbeauty-not!

Do you really have the Pro 2 "tank"? Read the top - there would be Pro 2 in red lettering on it and the humidifier a clear tank in front.
What is your computer OS?

Ideas for a good pillow..........everyone is different, but I personally like the Regenesis buckwheat pillow from PurSleep.com. It's well made, significantly better than similar products on the market, and worth the funds.....
When I first got the pillow, I saw a decrease in ai/ahi numbers. When I added the Hozer hose management system, the numbers improved again. More importantly, I feel a lot better and sleep a lot better.
Also I'm a number junkie........I like having the data readily available. I have different equipment than you.......
